EVENT #01: SAND OF IRON RESULTS

Last month’s mission was a great success. The Corsairs planned carefully, keeping the enemy officers occupied while carrying out a successful sneak attack under the cover of night. In addition to wiping out the soldier platoon, the Corsairs were also successful in capturing all three of the Armors. These armors have been taken to Flotsam for repairs, but will soon be available for Corsair use, which will bolster our firepower tremendously.

The Hesaeth mine has now been captured and Corsair personnel are moving in to begin operations. This will give us much-needed materiel so we can craft better weapons and armor, and possibly even begin to create Armors of our own. It will be on the Corsairs to hold it, if we don’t immediately move to prepare the Empire’s eventual reprisal could cause a considerable loss of life.

As a result of the mission’s success, the Corsairs receive the following benefits:
-New Liberation: New Corsairs may join from the liberated mining camp members. New PCs are likely from this group.
-Armor Availability: There are now 2 Schwert and 1 Lanze Soldier-class Armors available for Notoriety purchase. These are first-come first-serve, and may be lent out to PCs during missions until they are permanently purchased (in which case that PC will become the assigned pilot).
-Materiel Availability: PCs will all gain access to 1 Materiel which can be used on any Notoriety reward that requires it. Holding the mine may make further Materiel available in the future.
-Notoriety Reward: This is in part a correction of our extremely conservative initial Notoriety limitations in comparison to what our target gain is. All active PCs will gain 150 Notoriety. The rules for Notoriety gains have also been revised, and we now accept any number of threads and reward additional Notoriety for posts. You can find the updated Notoriety rules here.
