Maybe Donnie's too focused to be startled once Rezo comes up behind him, but the sound accompanying the priest is fair enough warning. He feels the slight pressure of something against his battle shell, Rezo's voice a familiar enough one, and that alone brings some relief. And then the pain abates, and he can breathe a little easier because of it, straightening up with a quiet, "Thanks."
At least Raph doesn't have to worry too much about what craziness the soft-shell is conjuring. The Ether focus helps so much, it's startlingly easy to keep the mystically-created Armor construct together. The only real problem is keeping track of it while fighting, but thankfully Kanna's taking care of things around them, and Donnie can leave the thing on auto-pilot briefly enough when he has to engage in anyone getting too close.
He can't help but be impressed as he sees Raph tear through the soldiers' ranks on his own, trying to watch the bigger turtle's back since he's not sure how tired out Raph will be from all that.
The mystical Feder practically pummels a few more soldiers into the ground.
