Raph isn't fully aware of what's happening behind him, too busy with whatever he has to deal with up front. Smaller pieces of light continue to shatter and break apart with the continuous assault of the soldiers, but he shows no signs of stopping.
He does, however, become momentarily distracted by the magenta-lit armor sweeps through. He can simultaneously call his brother crazy for overdoing it while being encouraged by the effort he puts into creating his NinpÅ-esque Ether weapon. At this rate, they should be breaking through them faster.
The Raph formation spurs onward with a battle cry of "HOT SOUP!", knocking soldiers out of the way with a wide sweep of his arm. He catches a few of them in his other hand, spiking them downward into the now-broken cobbles.
