Seems a bit odd to just leave the body after all of that, but...Link doesn't complain. Instead he just nods, and starts swimming towards the cannon - grabbing one of the hooks along the way. Then, he starts looking for a place to attach it.
It's a pity he doesn't still have Ultrahand - if he did, he could just stick the hook to the cannon. But he regained the ability to use Fuse, so...maybe one day. For now though, he finds a metal ring attached to the side, and uses that to anchor the hook.
