Don't think about it too hard, Angelika. Zonai powers did not always respect the laws of physics. (In fact, many things in Hyrule did not respect the laws of physics. They kinda ended up more like guidelines, really.)
Good to know that Angelika could help un-fuse things in the future, though. He might need that, if he ever ended up fusing something that later turned out to maybe not have been a great idea.
