He doesn't mean underground prisons by that. He finishes his beer, considers, than starts refilling it.

"I've seen carnivorous plants large enough to swallow a tallfolk man whole, banished ghosts using a jar of holy water as a flail, and seen a red dragon take flight. As curious as I was to see how that last was put together, I don't regret fleeing the scene rather than getting closer to check."
