He produces two plates, two spoons, and a small waxed paper container. When they serve the clafouti, Senshi scoops up a round dollop of something cold and dense, a pale butter color, on top of the hot dessert. It immediately starts to melt on contact, dissolving into rivulets of sweetened cream and egg.
