It's not that Donnie blames Nephenee. He isn't even mad at her, really. Clearly it's him that's the real problem here. Everyone's doing their job so why can't he just do his? Maybe...maybe he's better off sticking to support after all. Now doesn't seem like time to be reconsidering his decisions and he's well aware of that much, so he does his best to shove those thoughts into another box.
