Maleficent raises one hand - and one of the ravens flies in-between her and Aira. The bird takes the full force of the kick, exploding into a puff of feathers.
More ravens fly down, and as Maleficent's staff glows the birds' bodies begin to transform. Their legs elongate, their bodies become torsos, and the shape of their wings shift info something more like that of a human arm. They become soldiers - feathered, beak-faced soldiers, who all stand before Maleficent.
"Come," she tells Donnie again. "Do not speak to them. They will be dealt with soon enough."
