Atom watches the heat signatures of the soldiers draw near from just outside the trap danger zone, crouched behind shrubbery that had been nibbled by livestock. The soldiers are bright colored with heat, and it's clear the spell is exerting their bodies; perhaps an explanation for their foul appetites.
He extends a hand to send out an electric spark and the trap goes off right under the bloody soldiers' feet, leaving none of them in a condition fit to aid Gaurus further.
