Hugs are nice and warm and comforting. He has to give it to this world's Donnie: he's a lot stronger than he looks. Having his sides squeezed is a new sensation.
Although he doesn't show signs of wanting to be free of the hug, Raph reminds himself that Donnie needs to breathe at some point. Not that Donnie is showing any visible distress from being Raph-crushed from his point of view. Still, his arms relax and loosen after a few beats, slowly dropping away as he also takes a small step back.
"Almost a month now, last Raph checked. But yeah, that's where I've been posted," Raph says, running his thumb under an eye. "I met Miss Shu when they had to put together a scouting crew for scouting reasons."
