Aira's outburst startles Donnie, his mouth opening to blurt out an apology but Renne's already moving then, making short work of the man. He's grateful that she at least covers him up, not that it does much for what he's already seen.
The Ether... "Oh. Right." He'd almost forgotten the reason they'd even come here for. He collapses his staff so he can set to work. At least having a task helps him to get his mind in gear again, something else to focus on so he doesn't have to think about what all had just happened, at least for the time being.
He glances over at Renne, nodding as she moves to see to the data while he begins to pack up the stones.
