As is often the case, Link's taciturn nature makes it difficult to divine exactly what he is trying to say, leaving much to the imagination. Shu's frown deepens.

"You are saying that your victories are short-lived? That your world will always be threatened by such things time and time again?"

Metaphorically, history was bound to repeat itself. She had borne witness to such. The wars of the many countries repeated in a cycle of power and greed and lust for control. This seemed more literal.

"But I should hope it is not planning to arise again in your lifetime."
