He's actually got his battle shell on, something like a backpack of molded metal to go along with the curves of his softshell, worn over the layers of his clothes. Thankfully the harness and padding have kept him from getting burnt when the metal was likely heated during that fire spell, his clothing and the ends of his bandanna scorched in testament to that.
Donnie lets himself be guided along, trying to focus on putting one foot in front of the other, keeping his hands withdrawn against himself. The insides of his palms and fingers hurt from when his metal staff had gotten too hot. Once they're by the boxes, he winces as he sinks down slowly to sit on one of the ones not stacked so high.
