The fire spell explodes, crashing through the shield and slamming into the building. What threatens to be an enormous conflagration is stifled by DeeDee's wind magic, but it is not fully suppressed and continues to burn - it will be a problem eventually but it isn't one now.
The gunfire whizzes by Terra as her eyes dart over to the shooter. Arcane Ley Lines appear under her feet as she raises her arm.
