"The standard fireball spell should produce a ball of fire between the hands of the caster, a little larger than two fists," Rezo explains. "Once it's thrown and makes contact with something, it should explode and spread flames across a circular area of about eight feet. Of course, it can be made smaller and less dangerous, or more so, but I'm not trying to do anything unusual with it."
