Not that they'd have given him the opportunity. With Link's skillset, putting him to work as a guard or low-ranking soldier somewhere would have made the most sense. Except for the fact that - as they'd learned quickly - letting Link anywhere near a weapon of any kind was never going to go well for his captors.
