Of all the things Link was expecting, a thorough breakdown of his ability wasn't one of them. As she begins her theorising, he blinks, and pauses - and listens.
When she finishes, he's quiet for a moment.
"...Link," he says first. His name, since she didn't know it. "Not an assassination technique. No one taught me."
Well, unless he just doesn't remember being taught. But Link doesn't think he was. Who would have been his teacher? As far as he knows, there wasn't anyone who could have.
