Harlock heard the familiar sound of something being beaten to hell and back - and as always, he steps back to take a look at who was there and was was being tested.
Link he knew, and he recognized the sword from the mission. The sound catches his ear, before the beam strikes, sending sparks.
His brows raised, while he knew of swords that fire beams - his own gravitational saber was one such weapon, they never did anything quite like that... and no doubt without the actual mechanism for a laser.
"Seems like you did a number on that shield," the pirate remarked idly.
