As usual, it's hard to see it in Link's expression - but he does brighten, just a little, at the praise.
It's always nice, when people like his cooking.
"Stamella shrooms," he says. As for the question of how he knows how the lizard hasn't been running all over them...Link just shrugs. It's not really something he's thought about.
And as it turns out, Link has a question of his own to ask, now that their task is complete. "You make light things?" And then Link waves a hand, in a vague way that's possibly meant to suggest the magical constructs of purple light Donnie had created.
