Maybe it's not another person out there with Harlock at all? In fact, there's a white house cat joining him under the stars.

The cat curls up nearby - far enough away from the edge and water, but close enough to Harlock to see and be seen by him.

The cat seems to enjoy the music well enough, and certainly isn't rude enough to interrupt it.
